I recently became a homeroom teacher and wanted to save all the students' numbers at once.
So, I decided to use Google Contacts to save them all at once!!
Since I own Google shares, I'm a Google fanboy...
Goodbye to the days of saving them one by one...
First, access Google Contacts and click export contacts.

Click Export Contacts to save it in an editable file format.
I saved it as a Google CSV.

When you select the file on the desktop, it appears like an Excel sheet.
Scroll sideways to find the numbers and enter them according to the format.
I'm the homeroom teacher, so for easier management, I added the class number before each student's name.

Enter phone numbers under Phone 1 - Value.

Return to Google Contacts and click import to bring in the file, and within 5 seconds, the phone numbers will be added to Google Contacts.
A tag will be set for the imported date.
Wait a few seconds to a few minutes for the contacts to automatically update on your phone.

If anyone's phone numbers aren't updated, you can correct them through merge and fix.
If you want to remove the tag, that's also possible.
Hope everyone has a great new school term!
