I visited Dadaepo with my child, and the sun was scorching that day.
As a consolation, we decided to stop by the Ami Mountain Observatory.
Ami Mountain Observatory
77 Dadapara Sunset 2-gil, Saha-gu, Busan, South Korea
As the name suggests, it boasts a panoramic view.
It was great to see the Nakdong River at a glance.

Walking down from the 3rd floor to the 1st floor is more comfortable than walking up.
I took the elevator directly to the 3rd floor.

The 3rd floor has a glass front.
There's also a café where you can enjoy coffee.
If the kids get a little older, I would like to spend more time here.

I come here often, but the view is really good.
I talked to my child about migratory birds and gazed through the telescope together.

I also took a look around the 2nd floor.
The 2nd floor has information about the history, geography, and geopark of Dadaepo.
Every time I visit places like this, I feel glad that I learned Earth science.

When I went down to the 1st floor, rock specimens were on display.
The rhyolite, in particular, stood out.
I wanted to ask where they got such rare white rhyolite.

I used to visit Dadaepo and Molundae often as a child, and now seeing it under the new name 'National Geopark' felt somewhat unfamiliar.
If our living space enters science textbooks, it might feel like this.
Being able to see the beautiful scenes of the Nakdong River estuary at a glance was a great experience.
It's a place I want to visit again with my child.
