A few days ago, the deodorization button on the milen food waste processor kept blinking and beeping.
According to the official website, this indicates that the UV lamp inside needs to be replaced.
Since self-repair is possible, I promptly ordered the UV lamp from the address below.
The item arrived very clean and well packaged.

The instructions mention that there are longer and shorter sections on the lamp's power terminals.
It may not be evident in the photos, but you will easily recognize it upon checking the power unit after receiving the item.

I opened the back of the food waste processor at home.

The UV lamp head peeks out from the silver can-like object on the left.

Removing the UV lamp was quite challenging.
The lamp was tightly fitted into the rubber, possibly to prevent air leakage.
Instead of forcibly pulling the lamp out, gently twist it clockwise or counterclockwise to remove it with less effort, even if it might take a bit longer.

When inserting the new lamp, similarly avoid pressing it in forcefully, and instead twist it gently as you insert it.

Finally, make sure it fits snugly into the rubber as shown in the photo below to complete the replacement.

Below is the removed lamp.
The lamp clearly looks old.

After closing the lid slightly without sealing it completely, I tested it and it worked fine.
After confirming it works, I fastened the rest of the screws.

If you're comfortable with handling tools, the difficulty level of lamp replacement is not high.
If you've never done anything like this before, I recommend just contacting an installation technician for peace of mind.
I've used it well for over a month since self-replacement.
It seems there won't be any problems in the future.
